Player Testimonials
“I’ve played in a number of different Canadian leagues, including the SJHL and MJHL. The 2014-2015 hockey season was my first exposure to Whitefish, Montana, and playing in the WSHL. Whitefish is a great little resort town where the people are very friendly, and the town itself is beautiful. Whitefish, in fact, reminds me much of Banff, Alberta. When the team isn’t at the rink or at the gym, there are plenty of extra-curricular activities to partake: skiing Whitefish Mountain, shooting at the gun range, shopping downtown, or taking in a movie in Whitefish or Kalispell. Many players fall in love with the area and end up staying beyond the hockey season. Our team is involved in so many activities throughout the season that we’re a team on the ice, but we’re a family off the ice. It’s pretty amazing!”

“Whitefish has become my home, and I really love the small town atmosphere. After living and playing in bigger cities most of my Junior career, it has been nice for things to slow down and not be in the hustle and bustle of a big city. I played my second season in Whitefish but left during my third season. I was so excited to learn that I would be able to return and play in Whitefish. There is so much for players to do when we’re not playing hockey. The whole town just gives off good vibes.I was really ecstatic to return to Whitefish because of the coaching staff and the warm welcome by community members. Whitefish and its “family” I’ve grown to love provided a bigger picture for my life.”

“I loved everything about this season. It’s had such a positive impact on my life so much that my plans changed midway through the season. I intended to return to Sweden to continue my hockey career, but I love the hockey in the United States that I plan to attend college and continue playing hockey in the U.S.. The Wolverines aren’t just a team; we’re a family! I’ll value and remember this experience for the rest of my life. I’m so happy to have been a part of this organization. Go Wolverines!”
