ADVANCEMENT

The Western States Hockey League is a Junior A hockey league operated under the umbrella of the AAU and UHU Hockey. The competition and skill is unmatched at the Tier II level.

Rosters may have as many as twelve European players and an unlimited number of Canadian players. This concentration of “import” players raises the level of play.

The Western States Shootout is an annual college recruiting showcase held in December in Las Vegas, Nevada. It is attended by over 100 scouts from Tier II, Tier I and College Programs from around the United States. It is one of the premier recruiting events for college scouts in North America.

We have designed a program committed to learning, strength, and skill development. Our program is more structured than other programs and requires a greater application of time, focus and commitment. Our players are driven by the concept that this year represents an investment in their future.

Our Academic Director will assist students with the completion of the NCAA Clearinghouse requirements, assist with the writing of college applications, and offer on-site, in-person assistance with the distance learning program. Our goal is college preparation and academic advancement.
