If you are working to earn your High School diploma and you are playing Junior Hockey.....
Congrats! You made it to ADULT SWIM!
Q: The school calendar runs from late August to early June. A real junior hockey schedule runs from late September to early March (not including post season). HOW DOES THAT WORK?
A: POORLY. Transfer your transcript to the local "brick and mortar" school in your team's town, and transfer back to your hometown school at the end of the season, hoping you are are up to speed with your classes when you return.
OR- Sign up for correspondence courses from your home district and self teach. At the end of the season, try to transfer back into your hometown school.
Or- Sign up with Compuhigh-Whitmore School and complete your NCAA accredited Courses on a pace that works with your schedule, across an entire calendar year.
Q: A basic school schedule runs from 8am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday. A real junior hockey schedule monopolizes five or more hours of your day Monday through Thursday, and depending on the game schedule and travel, most of Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. HOW DOES THAT WORK?
A:POORLY! The team schedule, the game schedule, the travel schedule, medical and physical therapy appointments.... you will miss a lot of school or a lot of hockey. With Compuhigh-Whitmore School you will not miss classes, you will not fall behind in your schoolwork. The self-paced structure adapts to your schedule demands. The Mastery Grading System ensures that the coursework does not advance until the material is understood.
