BILLETING

WHO ARE BILLET PARENTS?

One of the most important aspects of joining a junior hockey organization is finding a great fit for the player in a host household. As many players pursue their dreams of hockey advancement, they lean on the host family for rmore than a roof over their head and a warm meal. It's about providing stability during an exciting time in a young player's life.

The Whitefish Wolverines Junior Hockey Club will ensure a positive experience for every player. We have a great collection of host families who work hard to meet the needs of each player as they make Whitefish their new, temporary home.

A MESSAGE FROM THE COORDINATOR

Billeting can be a very exciting and rewarding experience for all those willing to open up their homes to the dedicated players of the Whitefish Wolverines. Many families who have billeted in the past look back at their experience with fond memories. In fact, many families still keep in contact with the player(s) as they move through the ranks of college and professional hockey.

Not every player/family match will be an unmitigated success. We recognize this possibility from the outset. We ask that you communicate your concerns to us as soon as they develop. We will make changes to ensure everyone is happy and comfortable with their arrangements.

Whether you are an old Flathead Valley family or new to the area, billeting is a great way to meet new people. As a billet family, you become an instant member of the “band of billets,” which is an awesome, fun, and energetic support network that fosters long and lasting relationships.

Each billet family is paid a monthly amount of $400.00 per player to feed and house the player in their home.

If you would be interested in billeting this hockey season, call the Whitefish Wolverines office at 406-763-1015 or email: Billets@whitefishwolverines.com.

We would be more than happy to discuss all aspects of billeting with you and hopefully welcome you to the Wolverines family.

Sincerely,
The Whitefish Wolverines

Testimonials

Andy Hergesheimer -- "It's absolutely rewarding. I still keep in touch with the boys who lived with me three years ago, and they'll still contact me; we frequently text back and forth. In fact, I had a young man from Sweden who lived with me two years ago who actually flew back here to experience Montana in the summer."
